What makes you think so-called 'Libbies' (which I assume you mean non-Republicans) don't support an opt-out? Here I am a 'Libbie' according to MFAS and I think it should be optional.

Actually, I wasn't even thinking about you when I posted this. It was directed at some others who whine and cry when this program is correctly called a Ponzi scheme.

You correctly see it for what it is, but understandably like most Americans feel like money has been forcibly taken from you and you want it back.

The problem is that for you to get your money back, they have to take it from someone else i.e., your kids and grandkids.

I don't blame you or others for feeling that way. It is completely understandable, especially for those who thought it would be there and may not have other means whether it be poor planning or the market taking a big shit.

But, the math is the math. And the fuckers responsible for this won't end up paying the price which is all the douchebag politicians like FDR who started this boondoggle of a program.
