Am I permitted to change my gender in the HR system so that I can have a significantly greater probability for career advancement?

how do I do that ?

can I then notify managers of in areas where I might like to work and let them know I’m now considered as being advantageous for them if they promote me bc they can fulfill those 45/45/10 requirements?

How do I get the ball rolling on this ?

I don’t think it’s intended to be funny. And, how can you make assumptions about someone’s gender identity? It can change at any time, and they have a right to make that change and reap whatever benefits come with that change. What’s not funny is that you’re offended my someone looking to express their true self.

Ayana, I want to know the process for officially changing my gender identity as an employee at Novo Nordisk.

I then want to know how people get notified of my change so that I’m in a better place for career advancement.

This affects my livelihood as well as my emotional well-being so I’m expecting an answer from you.

The company made it very clear :
1: there are quotas and goals for leadership now
2: the door is open for people to chose male, female or they may choose to identify as neither, or choose not to say

I believe people are simply saying, ok, cool, so what’s the process ?

I think you’ll start seeing a lot of this, including the identification of race. I can switch from a white male to an Hispanic ‘choose not to answer’ any time I feel like it, and no one can dispute it. If you’d like to know how to do it, simply send an email to your HRG and inform them of your choice and ask them to make the change in your employee profile. When you start setting hiring quotas along racial and gender lines, and then acknowledge that those factors are based on your feelings, you’ve opened up a door you can’t close.
