Question about cobra coverage

Hi there,

Wondering for any of those who have been displaced and accepted other positions if our cobra coverage continues through February 2012 or if it ceases once you find other employment where benefits are offered?

Thanks in advance...hoping to find out here rather than waiting on hold w/ hrconnect!

the coverage exists until 2012, no matter if you get another job or not, so your covered until then, after that you pay if you want to continue past next feb.

Thank you for the reply. I will save some money by not opting in to my new employers health plan until the Cobra runs out.
