Questcor had it's issues, greed and a shitty culture of perform or perish, but MNK did this to itself by not performing proper due diligence.
I was involved with senior MNK folks shortly after the "merger", and it was clear they had no clue what they had purchased. They didn't take the time to track the market cycle. Reimbursed cases and total cases in were already in decline by the time MNK took over. They ignored the data and thought they could 'fix' the issues and get reimbursement up with a better hub. They ignored what we told them about urgent need to work with the payers. They overpaid, rushed the sale, ignored tenured QCOR leadership, and followed MNK internals who had and still have no business leading the ARD organization.

Every time you blame Questcor for your problems, ask yourself "if MNK have purchased the company if they were not making a ton of money with this asset?" The price increase, shady commercial practices, greedy management, and all the other problems that make you point fingers at them are precisely the reasons why MNK was attracted to QCOR.

On a side note, what the f**k has MNK really invested in Acthar or any other asset it has ever acquired? The reason they ever did any of the phase-4 bullshit was just ensure that sales did not drop.

Questcor raised the price. We can’t lower it now. We are now dealing with their unethical behavior.
 






Oh please. Poor MNK! Boo hoo! MNK's Management is a group of greedy swindlers who's eyes bugged out of their heads when they saw this "opportunity'! They saw easy pickings on an egregiously over priced product with dubious efficacy. I'm happy to say that were outswindled by QCOR! Remember what they did with Synacthen so they could keep raking in outrageous profits!Phuckemall!

whoever posted the phase 4 stuff is really an idiot. If your product is already approved the only study you can do is called a phase 4. Phase 3 implies pre-approval. How dumb are you?
