Qsymia is a bust so far according to Wall Street

I am surprised by the early failure of Qsymia. When I went on an interview and met the arrogant Vivus management I never looked back. Everyone at Vivus that I met was a cast off from some other phamra company so why is anyone surprised this launch is a bust.

I interviewed, went all the way to Atlanta and did not get hired. I found a great job with another company but I am not happy for Qsymia's 'failure', besides, a month in the market is way too early to call it 'failure'. I don't know why this is having you jumping up and down but I know that any failure is not good for ANYONE in this industry. Any drug that FDA does not approve, or goes generic, or failed during clinical studies sends hundreds/thousands of reps out of job...does that make you happy?

Agree - Managers with very bad rugs as well! HaHaHa!

Mine neither - docs are interested but cautious. faxing in Rx is new to them but staff does all trhe work anyway...

One office has two patients report really good results so far and that was really important for my endos to hear. they were impressed.

You are not getting enough scripts and you don't have any competition yet, wait until Eaisi starts selling another option.

Well, good for you. This way you can be the last one standing. Don't you get it, everyone has to do hit goal for this to be successful.

Stick your head in the sand and drink more Vivus purple punch and you will be unemployed this time next year. There are a lot of companies hiring and I would atleast send my reusme out, I got screwed by thinking everything was great and BI and now I am trying to get a contract job which is a resume killer!!

An option not even as effective as Qsymia starting dose, is BID, and has a complete rebound of weight in the second year. Oh yeah and cannot be used in patinets on depression or migraine medications.

Payers will love the fact that the drug only works in half the patinets and you only find that out three months later - they love that in formulary reviews...

I cant help those that cant help themselves, keep drinking the Vivus punch and you will be unemployed this time next year!

Former rep here- Now a patient----hopefully of your company. I have been a patient with diabetes for most of my life and a sales rep too. My health is far too important to me and with a family history full of heart attacks and strokes, I will take the risk of being able to get rid of the weight with this product. I'm paying cash because my insurance won't pay for it. The process of even getting an Rx is crazy difficult. Walgreens mail order has had the script for OVER 2 weeks and tells me that it will be delivered by 11-20. Fat people like me are impatient- might be the reason we are fat in the first place. Anyway- before all of the competitive jump on with the fat jokes- worry about your own products
