Q3 Bonuses

























So here's my question; since there are going to be over 100 sales positions being "displaced" for Q1 what kind of improvements (i.e. bonus plan increases, base salary increases) will Shire trickle down to the most important people in this company; the sales force!? The company will be saving a TON of cash, and I'm pretty sure the "life blood" being our salesforce and BU is the main contributing factor for Shire's heart beat not to mention acquisitions like ABH for example. Oh yeah forgot, some will get $2k which then becomes $1300 after taxes! Must be nice to make bi-weekly what we do in a month total IF we're lucky!

You havent been told? Shire doesnt have the cash right now for that! that is why we needed to cut 100 reps and have a shitty coupon program for patients. luckily though DB will get a half million bonus for 2012

You really think the reps that are staying will get a raise??

Wake up. They will not give raises. We are cutting the sales force to SAVE MONEY! As listed above, coupons and various other cost contributing things are being cut. Shire is in the drivers seat. If you don't like it, they don't care if you leave. Everyone is replaceable. Get ready to work your tail off for the same amount of pay. Some territories will be huge due to the cuts. Work load will increase...that's obvious!

Also, to the folks getting laid off...the crap severance in comparison to other companies tells you the priorities of taking care of the people here.

Hmmmmm...getting raises as the company is already drastically cutting a rather small sales force?? Very wishful thinking!!!
