Q2 Bonus

Since we are now going to be paid only on prescriptions for our Q2 bonus, how many reps are going to begin completing the OPKO Connect forms on behalf of their offices? The office's medical assistants will now control your pay bonus. How many reps will leave because they were lied to about the compensation? When everything goes through a hub and there is limited managed care coverage, MBOs are the only way to measure true performance. How long before Frost starts putting reps on PIPs?

All will be measured the same as we now have such tremendous coverage. Millions and millions of lives! Sorry for those of you not on a coast. But take heart, we have millions and millions of covered lives! And a big shout out to the attorneys! What a putz!

Let's all take one day a week off. The Q2 comp plan SUCKS. Your manager decides which "bucket" you will fall into and RSSs will have to fight for a position to fight over money. The majority of reps will not make the $7500.00 target. So why work everyday? If you take off every Wednesday, it might offset the money you are not going you be paid in commissions.
Let's celebrate Wicked Wednesdays by taking the paid day off from OPKO. :p

Taking a day off each week sounds like a great plan to make more money. Looks like it is working for some people though. The laziest people here are doing good compared to the hardest working ones.

Looking forward to tomorrow.

It is great that Tom agrees that we must "fight for every script" but that doesn't pay my bills. We have only a few days left in Q2 and we still don't know how we are going to get paid. How motivated is everyone when you don't know how you are going to be paid and if it is worth ALL of this effort?

Harvey did't exactly inspire me with "managed care companies only care about profits and it is doubtful that the new KDIGO guidelines will help with managed care approvals".

I can't wait for Oct. 1, 2017. I will have been here one year and I can walk away without having to payback my sign-on bonus.
My Q3 bonus wouldn't be enough to cover it.

WHY do they continue to screw us on our bonuses?

Because they can. They don't care which is obvious from the Q2 comp plan that they created after Q2 ended. The "grading curve" spiel was just propaganda to keep people here longer. THEY created the Q2 comp plan and they screwed the majority of the reps AGAIN. Just like we got screwed in Q1.
Hopefully, the RSS that are leaving will speak the truth during their exit interviews. It might work - we don't have to do call notes any longer.

I did not become a part of the expansion. Cafepharma should be taken with a grain of salt but changing a comp plan after a quarter has ended is breach of contract and not something I would tolerate. I tried doing my due diligence but didn't think of searching for Opko on Cafepharma. Every company has its naysayers but I am surprised to read the extent of the dissatisfaction with the organization. Thank goodness I dodged a bullet.

There was nothing "uncapped" about Q1. It was mainly MBOs which we had to fight for (image that) and they did the right thing and paid us after we bitched.

Q2 is a different story. Only the Top 5 didn't get screwed.
