Q1 EARNINGS REPORT.....VERY STRANGE

Phlem states that the NBU declined 2% due to the genericization of Lialda. Excluding this impact, the NBU grew 12%.

I have 2 questions....

1). WTF does Lialda have to do with NBU?
2). If the NBU grew a 10 year old product 12%, why are the RDs in the field 5 days a week and why the home office panic?

This Q1 report smells!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I guess now we all understand when they say nbu is not hitting their forecast number— because once again, have to pick up the slack of another division, yet this time it’s another medication they dump into the NBU P/L after it goes generic and is losing money..

And u wonder why everyone thinks they “cook the books” and manipulate numbers !!

Notice the 9.5% DECREASE in budget for selling... so that’s where the decrease in bonus payouts went !...

Lose share, still have high goal attainment, and doesn’t have the extreme pressure of the XR2 product

No wonder my RD was so excited about it. I've noticed the more excited my RD is about something the worst it'll be for sales reps.
 






We work for a ponzi scheme now, RDs were on a call Friday and told to sell the IC plan to the reps, it is a joke, they want us to sell the same amount as we did in Q1 but forgot that June is in Q2.

It really took this brain trust 2 months to come up with this????

It’s how these finger sniffing dolts operate! They are going to jam this new horrible IC plan down our throats that we know many of us will not reach.

Standard practice to thin the herd.
 






Well if you are a Ped Rep, Being asked to sell the same as Q1, well you should have no worries, since you lost so much Market Share and still made bank!

I sure it all evens out for Q2.

The real cavaet is the inflated “forecast” number that is attached that everyone needs to hit. Yes you have your territory history, but if your market isn’t growing and you are asked to grow to an enlarged forcast number, well you will never hit goal.

This is why the Ped Reps have lost so much market share and still hit 115-105 % goal attainment. The forcast is too low on Ped business; it’s attached to the adult.

I’m curious to see perhaps a change for q2.
