Put on a plan in the Midwest

Is anyone else being threatened to be put on a 90 day plan in the Midwest? My DM pulled this out of thin air, and has nothing to so with performance. I can't tell if this is coming down from KD or my DM setting me up to cover his own *ss

Hearing that some DMs are doing this from the NE. Don't think your dm is smart enough and have enough power to put 10 reps on PIPs. Why did KD let him do this? Did you talk to other people in other districts? Is your dm on a PIP himself?

Yes I have heard of it sevreal times in Midwest. Only know one person who came off of it the rest were either PIPed into quiting or were fired. Are you texing at the begining and end of each day- don't answer but if you are, they are riding to where you say you are also calling your offices. This is SOP he/she is probably watching your house and follwing your routing and watching you on sales calls. They are pulling your gas receipts and matching the times and areas, looking at the time/date on entered calls- I hate to tell you this they are looking for a reason to fire you. I wish you the best.

Welcome to the club. KD is nothing more than a puppet for Opie with orders to get rid of people. My guess is the DM was told to get rid of you and so you are going to be out. You cant trust anyone in the chicago office so I wish you luck. My only hope is that one day Opie, Ken and Joe get the same treatment they are giving others.

Three of the people I know were ranked in the top. It is coming from opie- he is targeting you. Do your job and look for another. Keep records of everything. dot your i-s cross your t-s. You have 90 days. If you do happen to come off then they will put you on for another 90. Make it so hard on you that you will wish they would fire you. If i had to guess you are not 25. opie is the worst. HR please help!

That's BS. Guaranteed if they want you gone, you will be gone. Get your stuff in order NOW. Years ago, we were told that excellent numbers are required, but you are still very replaceable. Good numbers guarantee you NOTHING!
 






This area is very well known for this. I believe managers are graded on their ability to not only advance the "right" reps, but to get rid of the others. Our manager used to say his job is to "hire and fire." Note the equity of the two. Then double check the theory by reviewing who has been elevated to positions above DM to see which ones did their "jobs" the best.

Even if your not on a PIP and they want to get rid of you its a done deal! From Opie to KD to your DM (if you have one). The irrational rath will come down. I over heard KD on a call once telling his DM's to "manage employees out" (extra work, etc.) if you cant get them on numbers or field ride observations. Ive known Opie since he was a pimple faced freshman at MSU as a fraternity pledge. He's still the same hedonistic dork he was then. Now he just has his ass kissing talents mastered and power to pursue his bugetary whims!

A little bitter after 5 yrs of devotion???? Yes I am, But its still reality folks!

I know of one rep that came off the PIP. When Tri-Beans launched there was a Joe M. MW rep on a 60-day plan (informal - you, DM, RD know about it). 90-day formal was next (that involves HR). That rep went from 400s to top 100s with Tri-Beans launch. Rep received official "graduation" letter from DM stating PIP was over. So, move a product from 400s to top 30 in nation and you'll be good. In the mean time, start looking.

You were "holding it down" as in making the engine run. Its your relationships and previous work that kept the volume up and the market share a float. Those f@*#ing dummies!

Holding us down because market share was too high and they couldnt grow it....Also werent willing to throw their partners under the bus and kill Azor for some Tri scripts....
