Push to be back in office

Working in an open office with people all around and not enough rooms to take confidential calls or do concentrated work is extremely inefficient. There is now a renewed push to get people back to the office. Is this a disguised attempt to thin the ranks hoping some people will leave?

Emma talks a lot about supporting people and making sure they thrive but this push to return to the office goes against that. I work with people from numerous sites and forcing me to go to the office adds nothing because I’m still talking to the over Teams. It just wastes my time by adding a long commute and makes me lose efficiency with all the distractions and disruptions.

Go to Biotech man/woman/he/she/it!! BioTechs are willing to compensate better than big Pharma in both base pay and bonus....they need experienced people and do not waste there time trying to "develop leaders" who want to be directors by age 28! And they allow you to work remotely!!!
