Having a lot of issues with our manager: unorganized, phone never on or vm is full, plays favorites, never praises anyone-even when it is well deserved, gossips, gave half the team a 1 for 2016 but hand picked who got a PIP. How fair is that? How does leadership expect to keep hard-working reps who actually care about their job when you have incompetent managers? Or managers who actually believe the ass-kissers like and respect them?

If there is a decision made at the top, it needs to apply the entire team, entire region, entire country. One RBD should not have different rules for his or her DMs, otherwise the teams start to break down when we all talk. Management 101. Explain the WHY when you give us extra things to and we might actually try a little harder. Give compliments and we might not be looking for another job because we don't feel appreciated. Hire people with experience and who can actually dress and speak like a professional. Hire people who have hobbies besides getting drunk at the NSM. Stop with extra trainings that we "cannot do from 8-5"....that is illegal or at best stupid. when you do not promote a good work life balance people QUIT, or worse, they stay and hate their job.

Leadership please let us rate our managers using the same scoring they use on us! My guess is there will be a lot of learners out there.
