Pulmonary/rheumatology sarcoidosis promo

Heard that rheumatology will be aggressively going after sarc scripts with rheu customers now and are currently being trained on sarc. Say what you want about DR, but at least she knows how to protect her reps and goes after the business. Also heard pulm reps haven't even had this communicated to them yet by their ABD. How could you leave your reps to find out about this second hand? Certainly won't help pulm reps met sales when two divisions possibly fighting over very few patients to begin with.

Go wrong??? Specialists spending too much time chasing too few patients... go where there are patients. Tons of lupus patients and they flare an average of 5 times annually.

You've got it all wrong. You should be going after the 2 or 3 DMPM patients that are clustered around the academic centers. That should be your strategy

Please... I can count the number of MS flare referrals written in rheum practices this year on one hand.
Just an observation, why isn't your compliance department all iver these issues? Most bio/pharma companies don't pay reps bonus when they
Promote outside disease states they represent. Sounds like rheumatology gets paid for whatever referral from ANY disease state. Hey compliance, take off the blinders!

Good point but rheum isn't the only division that has had referrals show up on reports outside their specialty based on diagnosis.

No one here is thinking about compliance. They do whatever they want and make their own rules as long as it's driving shareholder value. I had coffee with my MSL a couple weeks ago and told me that they got an email from HO and their leadership congratulating them on driving sales.
