Publicis - stop sampling Crestor so much...

Huh?? Have you seen the allocation numbers that the average PSS rep has for the typical MD. How about 3X7 of any strength.

The AZ reps have been carpet bombing MD's with the Crestor samples two and three time a month having 12X7 or even 24X7 shipped with each call. I only have to look at the call history to know that this is true
 






I don't think any of us can generalize Publicis vs. AZ here. Every rep is different. I am a Publicis rep and I have been very conservative with samples. Particularly due to the fact that samples are mailed, there is no signature chasing here at all. I usually "leave" samples in quantities of 6. A couple times I've had doc sign for 12, but that's been rare. Never more.

The most sigs I've had in a day is 4 or 5. Many days 0. I may average 2. Until I'm told I should be getting x number of signatures a day or have a signature at x time of day, I don't care what those stats look like and I will only leave samples accordingly. But yes, it can help with access and I'm mindful of that for all of us.

But I can only speak for myself.

you're joking right?? With the amount of oversampling from AZ and my horrible target list, I cannot get into any offices. Nice try to justify why your #'s are dropping but we JUST came on board.

What??? It's you all the AZ folks who dump samples by chasing signatures that in turn shuts me out of offices. Add that to my crap list of targets and I'm lucky to get in 4-5 calls a day. Please AZ reps, concern yourselves with doing your own job.
 












AZ rep here - you all sound like a bunch of children, just saying. Grow up Publicis, we realize you all are over-the-hill, but just hush up and soon, hopefully all of you will be gone.

You admit that all you do is collect signatures to prove that you are working.

In short, you are a terrible sales person.
 






It is sad that AZ had to bring a sales force that actually works. Why after 8 yrs Crestor share is only 8*%.? Because you don't work. We are going to replace you. yes you the stupid 26 yr old bimbo blonde that does not even know what studies are out there. Layoff rrrr rcoming

Hmmm..... PSS rep here. was in a Doc's office today.
Wanted to have her sign for some Crestor.
She said check the sample closet to see what is needed.
Found three tubs full of Crestor all in date.
Checked touchstone, found AZ reps were sampling 24 packs of all strengths every call.

So explain to me like I'm 4 years old - How are PSS reps hurting AZ reps?

my manager just called me and said we are going to have a national conference call after turkey day, i have had many of these in my days and these aren't good, any thoughts?

8% because Crestor shows no significant difference over Lipitor. Once Lipitor goes generic the MS will drop. My guess would be that they will keep the CSO sales force since it's more cost effective to get rid of the AZ sales force milking they system for two hours a day.
 












create fear, do you really think we are going to be kept around, I hope you are looking for employment opportunities while you are on this contract because you will not be brought on full time. I am taking complete advantage of this contract, continue to go to school and finish up my degree while getting paid. As for the nonsense of cso reps taking the positions of AZ reps (never going to happen). CSO reps are expendable, quit wishing for something thats not going to happen, as I stated, start looking for a new career, pharma is dead, go back to school for something else.
