Publicis Crestor Ocean team to have lay offs

Is the contract Publicis team that sells crestor safe? Our, are we getting let go too, only 3 months in to our new contract position? Any honest, (please), feedback would be appreciated.
 






Publicis reps, good luck seriously. I am SURE if we are having lay offs some Publicis Crestor territories well let lay offs as well. I want to be positive, start looking now while you your last 8 months or so. For those who get let go, my prayers are with and your family.
 






Think about it. They signed these contracts knowing layoffs were pending. I would be surprised if any cso rep is let go from contract. You were brought in to weather this storm without vested interest in AZ. AZ will pay for the contract as scheduled meaning you're 90% safe in this matter. Performance, and staying, in the contract is totally up to you.
 


















What a day, Novartis has huge problems with Tekturna, AZ has HUGE problems with Crestor vs. generic Zocor (look at the NewRxs) and very soon Lipitor. Bye bye AZ reps, bye bye Publicis reps
 






Unfortunately i have to agree that this contract will probably not last the full year and most likely will not be extended.
My call list is so incredibly bad...i go days without talking to a single doctor or getting a signature. Between the shit list we have and all the other az reps calling on the few good docs we have i feel like no matter how damn hard i try i just cant catch a break.
Im waiting for the day they tell me i need to get a certain amount of signatures per day to stay off some report.
Everyone started this contract wanting to do the best job possible but it has been imposible with this damn list.

I agree. I thought this was going to be a good situation and I have tried to be positive, but I can't get past this ridiculous list and the terrible access in my territory. Some areas are good, but now it sounds like extra calls on docs may not count. ??? At the very least my "reach" will seem horrible if I'm only in the offices where I have access. So for those of us that were focusing on the offices where we can actually see someone, that's not going to cut it.

I guess most of us can just forget getting a bonus, unless we totally, completely and frequently LIE. I know that's part of the game to an extent, but my DM is with me every 3-4 weeks and I just can't do that. I would think AZ will figure out some of these territories just don't need a CSO either and will go down to 1-2 AZ reps with Crestor. I don't know why we're here right now!
 






Crestor's days are numbered and everyone knows it. All of the AZ reps are trying like hell to leave AZ, which i don't blame for doing. This contract is going to shit. All I can about are sigs, and Crestor can dry up for all I care. 2012 ain't gonna be fun. Now back to the par-tay!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!
 






Please post if anyone hears anything... I can't imagine this contract would suddenly be done after 3-5 months, but I also wonder if they'll realize they don't really need ALL of us around.

And here's a thought... Has anyone considered that maybe we were brought on board to help AZ get through this restructuring? Then they'll figure out where we'll fit in - if at all?

Change is coming and not only for AZ but the Crestor contract reps as well. Some will be let go and if you look at this in a mature fashion, no way this contract last the full year. Zocor is doing well and by June/July generic Lipitor will be the final nail in the coffin. The Target List are Awful and that was/is AZ's biggest blunder. Can't slow loss of NRx or even grow NRx when these list, overall are a true waste. Like others have said, we all wanted to do great but it has been a joke and it starts with the list. Also, the DM field rides are Very counter-productive. Every 3 weeks. Add that to our cruddy call list and all the hysteria going on with the AZ folks, this position causes headaches on an Everyday basis.
