Does Roche not get it? All studies show a happy employee is a productive employee. It's that easy. I know they need to make money but they have this attitude that we are lucky to be here, not a we are glad you are here with us, attitude. It's seems like we fight internal things not our competition. I just don't get it, so maybe it's me. Maybe we should all, get it, out of here.

Sounds like another rant from yet another self entitled rep! You ca never please under worked and over paid drug reps, you just cant. They have the easiest job on the planet, yet all they do is whine and complain. Yes, you are extremely lucky. Since 2005 35% of all drug reps have been fired. That means there are tens of thousands of former reps who have entered the real world at a small fraction of their drug rep pay. So, you go right on ahead and quit, therewill be thousands applying for your job, who are willing to take far less pay.

Do not blame Roche for what Genentech has become. Genentech was on this path since 2005 when people like Ian and Kent came on board. Their attitude was that they were here to save the company when Genentech did very well without either one of those Big Pharma, self entitled fools. They hired unqualified people who would say yes to anything that Ian and Kent spouted off about.
Art was a great leader but he could not hire worth a crap. Examples are David Roche, Myrtle Potter and then allowing Ian and Kent to come. He would have done well to promote Kim and let her run the show but again, Art screwed up on a hiring issue.

I hate to say it but, you are 100% correct. Kim P should be running this place but it didn't happen. I am in a division with 8 reps and I know 5 are looking for a job. When other companies hire, people will leave but it will be slow. It's not the company as much as it is the manager.
