If you are to receive a PIP, then there is a reason. Produce results or simply leave.

There are many factors that go into a territory’s success and sometimes no matter how hard the rep works, how good the rep is, there are issues a rep can’t control. Some territories are 70% Medicare and Medicaid which greatly restricts their volume especially with a new drug. Then you throw in restricted or zero access to key accounts, accounts that have submitted BIs only to have to wait close to 2 months only to get fed up and withdraw and put patient on competitors’ drug: HUB issues, then the total lack of presence and support by other members of the company such as clinical liaison, access manager.
The PIP process needs to be fair if that can even happen.
Putting anyone on a PIP right now would incite a lot of resignations and even worse morale.
Isn’t Sun’s own Abhay under a legal microscope and cost the company great embarrassment but is he on a PIP?
