What is the starting salary for this position? What type of car and other benefits? Please some real answers.

Depends on experience. Lots of car options, mostly smaller fuel efficient vehicles. Subaru outback, legacy, Toyota camry, prius, Mazda cx7, volvo v40, some others.

Definitely better benefits than most pharma companies but be prepared to be micromanaged to death and forget about work life balance! This is a very stressful job and it never ends...

Salary : $75-$100+ K depending on experience. Work life balance? What is that? Does not exist here in BHBU. Sorry, but it is a job that pays.

Amgen has great benefits. I've worked for two other companies and Amgen is the best by far. Great car, good insurance for a reasonable price, stock options, and you can easily make six figures for just your base. The bonus potential is decent too, target of $30,000.

Target bonus may be $30,000, but 70% of reps in the first half made less than half of target. Without a drastic change in the goals, around 80-85% of reps will make less than half of target in the second half. Don't buy the "big bonus" talk.

Amgen is big on total compensation. 2 years with the company, north of $200,000. Base, bonus, contest winnings, car, annual stock (has vesting period), 401k match (best ever), and health benefits. You will work harder than any other sales job you have had in you life but the reward has been worth it for me. Good luck!

agreed. Totally not a sales job. In a few months there will not even be a job. No way they can continue to justify our salaries. We are not needed and the healthcare reform will demonstrate that soon.
