Problems with District and Area Managers regardless of Brokeback

These managers have not evolved with the times/ we who are reps are truly serious about our jobs, about our customer relationships and about patient care. The Managers still don't know there place!!!!/// they think they are coaches to a team. Give me a break! teams get together everyday and practice a Sport together! We are lone warriors independently "selling" legal drugs! For improved patient health. They sit around and think of ridiculous paperwork, humor and themes to make themselves look like important coaches! Gross! Our customers hate them because they are worthless and aren't in touch with field issues. We hate them because they are unimportant and do ridiculous things to make themselves look important like a Theme meeting which ultimately made fun of Gays. They are a waist and unmotivate me and my customers. Customers hate them and wish they wouldn't ride with us because they offer nothing they actually take away from the interaction. And now they make inappropriate jokes against their own employees. DELAYER THEM!

I am concerned about waste--as in waste, fraud, and abuse. But I am also concerned about my waist.

Your grasp of the English language makes your argument moot. Further, it appears that you're implying that reps do not need managers. Good luck selling THAT idea upwards.
 












It is hysterical that the sales reps who most feel that they need no coaching on their skills are the same ones who are considered to be complete crap by their colleagues and customers!

You are absolutely correct managers are a waste, grown men doing total BS for jobs. I bet down deep they feel important and directors aren't much better. Upper management needs to give these so called adults real work for a change.

Reps that think they need their mangers coaching are better off at Walmart. Most DSM are just long tenured average reps.
 




I am a top performer and have always delivered the extra mile. If my DM could possiblely coach me on how to do something then it would be good. Let's face it, my docs care about me as much as the RX so my DM didn't say get them to care - I did. What is this coaching bs anyway ? It my DM coudn't do it as a rep what makes them think he can do it as a DM ? Come on, I should be teachin him, especially about what makes docs care. He would know what makes them care if you could show him a movie about it. Anyway, if we make the RX happen then the DM should back way off.
