That’s because no “elite” or famous person has lost someone close to them.
If Nancy the Nut lost a son, daughter, grandkid, he’ll and earth would be moved to
appease her anger. The shooter wouldn’t be “a child of God” as she calls The gangs and criminals illegally entering this country and killing people.
Everything is wonderful until it’s your kid, wife, husband, etc. Politics vs Common sense.
Me vs. you.
Thoughts and prayers? Keep them. No one cares. Easy way out of facing reality.

An epic fail on your part all the way around. First you use the bogus and prejudicial term "gun violence". Deadly violence is deadly violence regardless of the tool used which is often a knife, a club or even hands or feet.

Second you adopt the tone of mocking thoughts and prayers. It's pretty transparent and most of those who do do are advocates not for genuinely solving the problem but for stricter gun control which is not needed and will not help the situation. There are solutions which will improve the situation but not as single one of them involved more gun restrictions. As I have repeatedly pointed out we need more guns in school, not less.

Also since 1968 there have been many more restrictive gun laws passed and they haven't helped. They have primarily restricted the freedom of stable, law abiding citizens to exercise their rights.

We have cultural problems and system problems. Not gun problems.

Correct., and Every school incidence was a system failure, people not doing their jobs, not identifying potential shooters, and not following thru neutralizing them when they do.
There’s a lot to blame all around. The gun is the last thing to be blamed.
