Proair Sucks!

Its funny to me that you think this an O2 company. We don't sell oxygen. We sell Albuterol. If you have a complaint, be more specific. It makes it easier to make fun of you, and not feel pity for your stupidity.

I Agree With Everyone ProAir Sucks Ass. First Off I used To Get 2 Of The Old Albuteral Inhalers For 30 Dollars Now Im Only Getting 1 For 38 Dollars And Im Getting Less Because It Is A Little Smaller. Plus It Doesnt Work Nearly As Good As Albuteral. I Could Go About 5 Weeks With Albuteral But With ProAir It Seems Like Im Using It All In 2 Or 3 Weeks I Dont Think Ive Ever Lasted A Month With This Piece Of Shit Inhaler. They Say They Cancelled The Albuteral Because Of The Ozone Or Something But Theyll Let People Smoke A Billion Packs Of Cigarets A Day And Drive Trucks That Do The Same Thing. Instead Of Cutting Back On Medicen That Helps People Breathe Why Not Cut Back On Something That Causes People Not To Breathe. I Thought They Had Already Solved The Polution On The Inhaler Anyways Because The Albuteral Used To Be In A Green Container And Then It Changed To A Blue Container? So What Happned? They Realzed That They Could Get More Money Out Of People By Making It Smaller And Switching To A Smaller Container. I Hope Who Ever Decided To Do This Gets Whats Coming To Them They Have No Idea Wha There Doing To Asthmatics. I Hope Who Ever Did This Gets Asthma And Suffers Like The Rest Of Us....

I take ProAir and have no problems. It's a great drug and it helps me a lot. I've never had clogging issues as long as I clean it regularly. Others may not like it, but I love it.

haha! no doubt posted by someone from gsk.

Hope that hiker doesn't go hiking in snow, or rain, or a humid forest, using that awesome counter. The gasket on that product is terrible and allows moisture to enter. And if you know anything about Albuterol, you would know that it's a white powdery substance that would be compromised if it comes in contact with moisture. Bottom line, Ventolin is an inferior product that is being sold by spinsters.

PROAIR IS THE MARKET LEADER (and for good reason)

Thanks Burke, oh wait a minute, you know nothing about our products so this can't be you.

What a kool aid drinking SOB. No, moisture doesn't F up an inhaler, take it skiing, that thing is fine. And you do actually know how many actuations are left.

I recently went hiking and had to take Proair -- and I thought, if only this POS was Ventolin I'd know how many actuations were left.

Here's for the best that I don't get an asthma attack. Seriously, be a patient and make you'll realize...

And no, I'm not from GSK. Or SP. I'm a patient. And you? You're a drug pusher with no soul.

Good luck going into offices and having the patients hate you, want you out, and have no respect for you. I hope you realize what a tool you are.

I love people who say they're patients on these boards, but know way too much about the selling points of the products, and use abbreviations for companies that haven't been brought up in the thread yet like SP. Meaning Schering-Plough that sells Proventil. So stupid. Patients could care less who owns the rights to products, and they could also care less about the bickering that goes on in these childish chat rooms.

And if you are a patient, take more than one of your inhalers skiing (since everyone with asthma has multiple laying around the house), and also ask your physician about how to use your inhaler for EIB so you can enjoy your trips outdoors.

Amen!
And for the comp. rep posting the crap about ventolin...Dr.s don't appreciate when reps just dog a product because their marketing team beats it into them. They would respect you more if you just sold it as another option, because most if not all physicians would agree that not all meds work for everyone. You never know, you may be working for this company one day and then you look like an ass!

For god's sake people....it's albuterol. Have some self respect and dignity!

I guess you have never tied metaproternol now that product rocks.

I agree about the increased cost. I paid the same $38 vs about $15-$16 previously. Then I wised up. I ordered generic albuterol inhalers from a Canadian pharmacy. In 10 days I received NINE inhalers from Great Britain. They are made by IVAX (Teva owned) in the same Ireland factory as Proair. The cost: $95 plus $10 for shipping.
