I am in the running for P Club this year. What I think is funny is my DM and counterpart are obsessed with it. Don't get me wrong, I will do my best to get there. But really, who the hell hangs a hat on being in P Club? Outside FRX no one cares. However, my partner and DM have no families, no spouse, no kids and no previous professional or even academic accomplishments. I have those things. To be so obsessed with making P Club means you have a very sad life. See you in Hawaii!
 














































































Actually you are wrong. As a former FRX employee and former FRX P-Club winner, I can tell you from experiance that having that win on your resume does help when you decide to leave FRX. Dont get me wrong, I know you can always lie and say you won, but its nice to have backup proof. As for the trip, its complete bullshit, no matter where you go. If you win, be excited for te resume update but not the trip itself. Its nothing more then a glorified POA in a nice destination. Nametags everywhere, mandatory work socials, Jerry walks around like hes George Clooney thinking you're lucky to get a picture with him. You're lucky if you get a free day for yourself.
My advice, take the payout even though its taxed and go on vacation with your wife/husband or gf/bf. Its a free week off of work if anything else.

I am the OP. I am sure it's nice to have and am trying, my life does not center on it like my partner and DM. Funny you say take the payout. I know a two time winner. He is very tenured. He opted for the payout second time. Had no desire to go. Like you said, liked winning, but did not want to spend a week doing the drill.
 






I'm pretty sure you can't take the payout anymore. I think the only way to get out of the trip is if you're on Maternity leave during it. I've been to P-Club and if I ever win again, I will make sure to not attend any of the events and just hang out with my spouse on our own. Those events sucked. Nothing worse than hanging out with a bunch of people you're not even friends with and have no interest in getting to know. I just look at this trip as free hotel & airfare for a week, nothing more. Very anti-climactic indeed!

got all the proof I need for my resume. I'm listed as a 3 time winner and I have a green jacket as proof. It came with a box of cereal I got at costco. Apple has great software so I have a gorgeous certificate and could even make a plaque if needed. Hell, I even photo-shopped a pic of ole Jer and me in Maui. So there..... thats about what its worth and thats what I put into it. And I sniffed EH's box just for the fun of it!!!!
 












When will you all understand that PC is pre-arranged. If your RD likes you and the ABD likes you and has the pull, you win. Numbers are all pre-determined. Why do you think CR always wins. He knows his business and fights for his teams. On the other hand Brad Spivey does not. How does it feel to finish 2nd all the time- Brad Spivey?
