Anyone want to sell their PC ring? I lost mine and would like to get one again. I'm sure that NPC won't replace it. BTW, I need a man's ring.

I sold my Ciba-geigy and Novartis rings when gold was close to $1800 per oz. I sold 4 company rings and my college ring for over $1500.

What would be the real purpose to keep any of these? It's not like you would wear a Novartis ring anywhere.

Might as well get something for it. I'm surprised given the low amount of gold in it that it would bring even $150.

Sadly, the Novartis ring is crap!! At least the Ciba ring is gold, if you were lucky enough to have several diamonds and a ruby or two, you can get a fair amount of money. I see no reason to keep any of them

At least the first couple Novartis rings were low grade gold with cheap diamonds. Still though I'm surprised they'd bring the money others have said.

I was just going to post to see if I should wear the "ring" on my interviews coming up this week and next. What are you guys thoughts? I am torn...this company is truly making me sick with all the maneuvering from the hierarchy the last 3 years. I used to take pride in this job, but now am reduced to a decision to wear this multi diamond bling on the interview...wow! Who would have thought it would have come to this more than a decade ago...

Wearing your ring to an interview is like wearing your class ring--TACKY. Especially the Novartis ring, tossed mine in the drawer the minute I got home from the equally tacky trip.

If you have won awards, I hope you resume has things like that listed. Be prepared to tell what you did specifically to earn the award. Be prepared for others on CP to say it was luck, or whatever, but since they don't know who you are, f**k 'em. Good luck in your job search.
