Precision EP mapping software

It seems like even the loyal ESI EP's are not having great experiences with Precision. Looks like a lot of those expensive extra patch kits are going to be expiring on the shelves of a lot of hospitals. I feel sorry for these poor customers...

The system still drifts. Low resolution, point collection is limited to nearest neighbor and fist in first in is the first thrown out (a good point can be wiped out by a geographical close but crappy signal/annotation taken later. System is based on a amp spec'd out in 2007, very limited noise cancelation, and low level capability - ancient tech!

Auto annotation algorithm is based on user setup, people that know more about PVAB are trying to set up auto mapping when they should be more focused on not handing off a recalled defibrillator - sinners!

No force-sensing magnetic catheter in the US.

Limited use in major training centers, limited integration unlike Biosense they integrate everything and do it like a boss.

Kind of like buying a used Prius and bolting on a turbo for the gas engine. Cool you have a turbo, magnet in the case of precision but you still have a lame ass Prius. Meanwhile the competition has Porsche and Tesla like capability.

2007 was cool until the market tanked... kind of like the crappy amp we specd.

Where did Gray go... oh yeah those that know the reference know out to develop a amp that could get it done.

Anyone hiring?

He's at a start-up in CA.

Well said by the above post. To simplify, you can't fix a non-competitive mapping system with a software update which is exactly what Precision is. The hardware itself is well behind the times. BSX will eventually take over as the #2 EP platform once they get a better ablation catheter.

And on top of all that you have second rate mappers which auto map can't even help
