THIS GUY IS THE WORST PERSON I EVER INTERVIEWED WITH. I HAD MY WORST INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE IN MY ENTIRE LIFETIME. I HAVE 6 YEARS EXPERIENCE AS A RECRUITER IN THE MEDICAL INDUSTRY AND HE NEVER GAVE ME A CHANCE TO DEMONSTRATE MY KNOWLEDGE OF MY EXCEPTIONAL BACKGROUND. HE ATTACKED ME AND LOOKED AT MY COLLEGE TRANSCRIPTS. I RESEARCHED LILLY VERY WELL AND HE NEVER LET ME SPEAK ABOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OF THE COMPANY. I KNEW ABOUT LILLY'S PRODUCTS AND DID ALOT OF READING. I HOPE NOT ALL OF LILLY'S HIRING MANAGERS ARE LIKE THIS. EVEN IF I GET PASSED ONTO THE NEXT PHASE WHICH IS THE BACKGROUND CHECK, I WILL NOT MOVE FORWARD SINCE I HAD SUCH A BAD EXPERIENCE IN THE PANEL. HE WORKS IN THE NEUROSCIENCE DIVISION. I HAVE AN INTERVIEW COMING UP WITH ASTRAZENECA AND PFIZER, HOPE ITS NOT LIKE LILLY. JUST BE CAREFUL AND WATCH YOUR BACK.

Oh be serious! Lilly does not do much recruiting any more. That was years ago. Unless of course you are a specialist in outsourcing. Exactly what job were you interviewing for? Was it directly working for Lilly, or as a contractor?

Chances are, if he didnt give you a chance to demonstrate what "you researched about the company", he really didn't care about your research abilities. He probably saw that you just weren't cut out for the position, at least not on his team. You felt attacked you on the interview? Its called a stress test. If you did so much research, did you bother looking at the job description? You will get "attacked" (aka - challenged) by your customers. He wanted to see if you would buckle under the pressure.

Oh Please! Count your Blessings. Lilly is the worst of the worst with no pipeline and their worst drug Zyprexa about to go generic. Make the cut? Ha-Ha the people that work there are the most unhappy, worried bunch out there.

Ever heard of "Targeted Selection"?? All they want to know about is you and how you have reacted in particular situations: to really find out about you. I turst the interviewers already know about their own company!! It really is about getting data on what you have done in real life situations and the questions are designed to flush out the details. Go do some real research on interview techiques!
