You're surprised? Listen, anytime there are two companies launching a product it spells trouble. When my division was told it was a co-op deal with Sanofi, we all thought it was an enormous mistake. You want nothing to do with Sanofi, believe me.
Unfortunately(and I can say this with two years experience here), you will soon come to realize this is one of the worst companies you will ever work for. They will follow Sanofi's lead in every way. That 40k at plan they are promising you? This will be the maximum you will make period. If you are used to making 10k plus per quarter, sorry to burst your bubble but it won't happen here.
So if you were one that had gotten a slight bump in your base, you will be extremely unhappy when in the end you probably made more money overall in your previous company. Common sense dictates that a drug this size with so many different reps selling the same thing does not yield high bonuses. It won't happen.
