Maybe that helps explain today's email that all but begged CV reps to post for diabetes overlay positions. Kill two birds with one stone: slip those CV reps into the overlay spots Lilly forced BI to create. That way BI can still cut the number of reps they wanted to ( not retain displaced reps) and avoid future CV severance packages. Head count neutral= lower $$$.

CardSpec and diabetes overlay will become one and the same. Already hearing some CV reps being told to post for diabetes overlay and their direct partners are being told nothing. That way the odd CV rep out can be given a low rating, placed on a performance plan and let go sometime during the middle of next year.
