Maybe that helps explain today's email that all but begged CV reps to post for diabetes overlay positions. Kill two birds with one stone: slip those CV reps into the overlay spots Lilly forced BI to create. That way BI can still cut the number of reps they wanted to ( not retain displaced reps) and avoid future CV severance packages. Head count neutral= lower $$$.

Makes sense. But do they really want to lose share of voice in the cardio market. How many eliquis and xeltro reps to BI reps? Then again BI does not think. Thats why it's all sinking.

CardSpec and diabetes overlay will become one and the same. Already hearing some CV reps being told to post for diabetes overlay and their direct partners are being told nothing. That way the odd CV rep out can be given a low rating, placed on a performance plan and let go sometime during the middle of next year. Some CV reps who got low ratings last year are already on performance plans and won't make it to Empa-Reg training.
