One thing for sure: This drug ain't for the Pharma reps who are used to drugs selling themselves. The Cadence job is for top performers who can close deals in a tough environment. If what you are doing is not working, try something else. Somewhere, somebody in your territory will use Ofirmev. Does not take gimmicks, just persistence.

I know, you all think this is management. Sorry. Just a rep who wanted to thwart all the negative on CP. Seems to be a lot of $5 Kicker Bonus winners Q1! Top few earned over $40,000 in the quarter. WOW. SEVERAL $20k performers. Where else do you find this??? Seriously.

In a industry where it's all crumbling, please think how good it is at Cadence with the bonus and high salaries compared to what else is out there. They hired us as top industry performers. I want this company to succeed. Congrats to all for a big Q1!!!

I agree positive revere! I myself, am a $20k plus qt bonus winner, along with this salary where else are you going to find this? No reason to complain, there is a chance for everyone to make money here. Even if you didn't sell shit last year, you're set up perfect with the corporate welfare program for losers.
 






Four ra ra posts on four different threads in less than an hour on a Saturday night. Either it was a quiet night in San Diego to curl up with the iPad and get caught up on correspondences or there is a very paranoid rep out there that knows this is unsustainable and almost over.

Celebrating a great commission check (finally) is comparable to saying "sure the ship sank, but did you hear that band on the deck?" Yet not a very long encore.

You mention " finally" getting a good commission check? Wrong asshole, My last three qt's have been 10-15k, not bad in my opinion. The money has been here, just like your whining bullshit has. Go ahead, let's hear how tough pharmacy is in your neck of the woods.

Very Funny and very true, the same thing that has everyone so happy is the same thing that will sink us.
Our company can't maintain this overhead(bonuses etc.), yeah a 20k check is great now, but what does the future bring when we have to repay the loan at the end of the year.

I don't know the answer, just saying we should all see the light and be realistic.

A speaker at a leadership conference once said, "you should always keep one eye open and interview every now and then." You never know what you are worth if you don't interview.

So of course we should all have one eye open. However, there are not many Pharma opportunities where performance is paying so well. If you are getting paid for your performance, then you want to keep the lights on where you are at.

Way to go for so many who got into the bonus $$$$$'s! Almost all of us.

Almost all of us? 50% of the sales force made less than 10k this quarter and, sadly, that was more more than any quarter in 2011. Who are you trying to fool? Try taking a look at Regeneron bonuses. Biogen Idec. Companies that consistently pay and have pipelines.

"Wow". That says it all. Guess you are voting for Obama and waiting for him to spread the wealth from those who worked & earned their income. If you made so little last year, 2012 Q1 was for you.....but apparently you did not leave the house as the other 99% did. And when did any of us say we made the highest bonus? Comparing a start up to established products makes you look silly. Cadence is among the best at $40k, $20k, and even "just" $10k for 2012 Q1.

Back to reality: It's not easy to sell common sense(Ofirmev), but don't give up as your peers are making growth. Hearing "no" should not scare you. It's an opportunity to get around an obstacle.

Bad attitudes are contagious. Why is it so hard to turn a ship around with a drug that works and is proven over and over and over?

Anyone called up their local news station and reported pharmacy for not using a safer drug that costs $10?

You're right! Bad attitudes are contagious...so why don't you tell the cadence management team to stop infecting us with their demeaning, insulting, rude, condescending, micromanaging, heavy handed, overbearing management style!!! Look in the mirror and take some responsibility!!! Not to mention the majority of managers Cadence hired had no anesthesia/surgery experience or hospital experience. WTF?? What were the criteria for hiring these managers??? Oh, yeh, good old boys kiss ass club!

u r a koolaid drinking idiot. u can prove safer? i think NOT!!!!!!!! no head to head study means u r putting ur company at risk! just sayin'. go ahead and call those local news stations. u will be arrested!
 












no head to head? What are you talking about? Do you use a plastic fork instead of a hammer? C'mon doc. There is no study for common sense. Prove it....5 patients with Ofirmev and 5 patients with PO Tylenol.
