Glad to see you moved your post from your own new thread about Cain to this one. I was beginning to think you were as confused as Crazy Harold.

In fact, your thread (since deleted) reminded of a joke I just read on email:
Three sisters, ages 92, 94 & 96, live in a house together. One night the 96-year-old draws a bath , puts her foot in and pauses. She yells to the other sisters, "Was I getting in or out of the bath?"

The 94-year-old yells back, "I don't know. I'll come up and see." She starts up the stairs and pauses, "Was I going up the stairs or down?"

The 92-year-old is sitting at the kitchen table having tea listening to her sisters, she shakes her head & says, "I sure hope I never get that forgetful, knock on wood." She then yells, "I'll come up and help both of you as soon as I see who's at the door."

You must be posting just to see who will react. No one is really this dumb. The pope supporting liberal causes? Not a chance. The pope supporting a world bank and global government, sure, with the vatican at the helm. Are you really ready to redistribute your wealth to other nations and to live like someone in India? Do you understand that is what he is proposing.

Seriously, no one is out there in the real world that is this dumb. Fess up that you are just posing and pretending to be this dense to get a response from the boards.

I'd be a liar if I said it wasn't headed in that direction. I have 67 days left until retirement; 18 of which are weekends (= 49 left); 5 of which are Holidays (=44 left) 18 of which are vacation days I haven't used (= 26 left); 8of which are in beautiful Central Coast wine country (=18 days left in the grind). I've got a lot on my mind but sometimes it doesn't stick.

The pope and most religions, except for the extreme conservative hat-filled lunatics, are very liberal on most social issues except sex. Sanctuary, conscientious objection, end of the death penalty, render unto Caesar,hate the sin, love the sinner, all of god's children, mercy, amnesty, non-violence, turn the other cheek etc, etc.
Too bad they have all these hang ups about sex.

I have to agree with you here. A World bank is truely scary and evil. Besides, the fact that the Catholic church is sitting on $billion$$$ they could open up their own bank, why don't they go help the poor? Isn't that the whole doctrine of their religion?

I think the religions just pretend to be liberal and cumbaya. In reality, they don't really help people in need unless it serves them in some way. How many homeless are out there in the world, and yet where are all these relgious do gooders to help them all?? They love the sinner as long as the sinner is depositing $$ into the coffers.
Also there are some churchs that are liberal with sex, and homosexualty and contraceptives--- so I think their doctrines conflict.
