Poor excuse for IT leadership

What does it say for IT leadership when they offer to write recommendations via LinkedIn and never follow through. It says, they really don't care about their employees and are only looking out for themselves. Anyone one else with similar experiences.

These days, due to liability fears, execs are reluctant to provide written recos; they would rather speak by phone and give references, so if a lawsuit arises, they can deny involvement. Yes, its pathetic, but most companies ask for this approach to protect themselves

Every new leader / manager implements change for change sake at Novartis. This goes back to and before PJ and best structure. terrible way to foster high performing teams, communication, or customer satisfaction. Same stuff over and over. Same hollow promises over and over.
