How does someone that didn’t even qualify to interview for a rare disease position with no sales accomplishments in their ENTIRE contract sales career end up as a trainer- all in less than a year? The same person that didn’t even know what a business plan was. Lol. Because her mediocre former manager contacted the mediocre manager and begs him to hire the person. Then she is praised for walking into a territory that was already doing well without her in it. This company rewards mediocrity. Her TLL friend (former manager with no leadership skills) didn’t qualify either. How do you end up a TLL for rare disease and you have ZERO rare disease connections? Because you’re good friends with the micromanager loser Raj before the position became available and they gift you the job. Now she is following the same formula- get in good with the weak mediocre manager and become best friends so that you can get exposure, while remaining below average to ensure job security. I can’t wait to put in my notice.

There is an open spot in my area. Any insights into pay? I know that it is tough to get honest answers on here, but I thought I would try. Recruiters rarely give the full story. Thanks!

Pay here is low at sanofi compared to other places. But if you're coming from another company, you'll be at an advantage with pay. Salary/promotion/merit increases are nonexistent.

I do know that rare genetics avg is 150. Highest rep is around 185. But that's not common. Target bonus is 55k/year
Oncology is higher
Dupixent Jobs they're offering in the 150-160 range
