Policy Letter 1 Training

Dear Mr. Frazier and the Merck Board of Directors:

If you want to see how far into the abyss Merck, a once well-run and respected company, has fallen, you should complete the Policy Letter 1 training.

Although the majority of the training is a foolish venture into thought control and obfuscation, you will know that Merck's position as a corporation of importance is finished when you review the section on appropriate use of Post-It Notes.

What a vapid, silly corporation Merck has become. What are you prepared to do to right the ship?

Signed,

Kilroy

This is exactly the types of important issues (important if you are a lawyer) that your management thinks deserve significant attention. Beats the imponderable (imponderable if you are a lawyer) task of actually developing a pipeline of products. I am still waiting for the "Don't run with scissors in your hand, Johnny, - or you'll be sent to time out" lessons.

Industry-wide respect for Merck turned to laughter when lawyers took control. I probably cannot say this on MVX because it is probably covered in some other imbecilic policy letter.
