East coast is continuing to get nailed. We lost 5 on our team so far, including myself
I am so heart sorry to hear that you lost your job! Everything happens for a reason. You will find something better! In the meantime, enjoy your time off in between interviews. Take some time to relax. Maybe get a few things done that you were not able to while working full-time. Prayers sent to all of you.

This person is cool and has the right idea. Some people are not excited to get a call and a package. Some of these people want/need this job at the moment. Some people’s spouses might be sick or out of work, or other difficulties. Be mindful of those who don’t see this as a positive and maybe instead share advice on next steps. Good on you for saying something positive.

Indeed.com – sign up for daily alerts under various different titles. I get about four emails a day with a list of openings. The job openings are usually posted by the company itself.

Medreps.com - there is a fee for this one and it's usually all recruiters that post open positions. I've signed up for a three month membership. Just don't forget to cancel it.

Update your linked in profile: "friend" or "link" with as many recruiters as you can find. You can also get job alerts emailed to you from the site.

Go to the office supply store and make numerous copies of your "brag book leave behind" so they are ready to go for the interviews

Hope this helps. I know some of it is basic stuff. But I thought I'd share anyway.

Glassdoor is another great resource to not only search for jobs but you can review current and past employee feedback (pros and cons etc) as well get a ball park idea on how the compensate positions. It's probably the best resource in terms of getting a view from 30K feet above. Other sites are just job postings or company websites. If you're looking for a job that pays >$100K, TheLadders.com is site. Floodgate Medical is also another specialty recruiter for our space.
Good luck in your searches. Good thing is there are jobs out there, don't sell yourself short and interviewing for a job you may not necessarily want to take will only help you prepare for the next interview. Just my two cents.
