PLease in Chicago

Sorry about that, Intuitive is really a bad place to be! I know there are some good people working here, but all of management is cut out of a different mold, really messed up.

Intuitive is not a "really bad place to be!" It's an awesome place to be especially if you have a good CSM and CSD. I wish the OP had one of those and I hope some changes happen quickly if the Chicago CSM indeed sucks. Ive been a CSR for almost 2 years now and have never enjoyed a job as much I have and am enjoying this one. Our region is great and the other CSRs in this area are cool dudes. I didnt make $250k before this job and the company I worked for before this (Boston Sci) stock is an embarassing 5 bucks a share compared the Intuitive at $420 a share. We have multiple new instruments and products launching in 2012 and sell an average of 120 daVinci systems every quarter. The FDA just approved single-site for lap chole and Intuitive is on pace for finishing another year at over 20% growth.
Are you kidding me? Intuitive is not a really bad place to be at all. We just work differently than most medical companies. We work hard.

You're right. Your CSM/CSD will make or break your job here. I can relate very well to the OP. I have been here 3 years, and have experienced great CSM's and horrible CSM's. Intuitive is growing so fast they can't find the quality people to fill the spots. The CSM's that come from outside and have never been a CSR seem to be the worst.
