Had a phone interview for expansion position this week. What is salary for primary care rep? What is training like, how long? How is the bonus program? Thank you for help. Any other info would be great!!

Thanks for replies! 100 views and no replies!!! Helps to know the reps that I would work with are NO help!!! Simple questions, can't answer, REALLY!!!

$65,000-$70,000, 3 weeks training in New Jersey, big pharma style training I.E....lots of role playing, you must pass with a 90% on your assessments or you are flying home with no job. You get 2 tries to get 90%. This is not a solid opportunity as this is a foolish reason to expand the sales force to promote a 25 year old + product (EpiPen). The president of the company responsible for the expansion just left the company. We cannot keep any marketing people here for more than a year. Very unorganized and those who kiss the most a$$ are recognized for promotions even with sub par performance. This expansion is just an excuse to layoff next year. Keep looking..........and good luck.

Thank you so much for the honest feedback!!!
You're a fool if you think that was honest feedback. Nothing great at this company...but better than those great companys like Sanofi, Novartis, Pfizer etc... that are all laying people off! COO left, not president, and he left for a dream job living in Park City, UT

No way is this job an easy $100K. I am a specialty rep employed here for many years and haven't broken the $100K mark as a top performer. I would say base @$68-70K as new hires making more coming in than existing reps. No one is making bonus as would hope. I would say $16-20K bonus if that. But, you get the Ford Fusion and don't have to worry about gas and insurance.
Take the job. It's an easy drug to sell with little effort.

Jerkoff please, all of the upper management and training dept. has ties to Sanofi. WTF wasn't honest? This is the beginning of the end!

I came on as a PC rep and got 76k bases a SR rep, also at plan our div gets 25K bonus... that would be 101K at 100 percent to plan... Spec reps get 29K at plan which is 110K, that BS about being a top Spec rep is BS! Training was 2 weeks home, and 2 weeks in NJ and you get a Fusion... any other feedback is BS! Lotsa whiny babies here to- TRUE!

Training is two weeks, home study length depends on when your hire date starts. You need to get an 85% on the exams and honestly, the tests are not difficult and straight forward. The thing I liked about the training is that it was realistic. No one sugar coated the difficulty in selling the products and it felt real world. If you are unsure or listening to the negative, don't come here. Sick of the negative bullshit attitudes and don't need anymore. No company is perfect.
