Plan is anyone's guess

What will happen at this company over the next two years is anyone's guess. It was to be sold by now. Could not sell it. Try IPO. Would not work. Keep for long term. Disaster as the company could potentially lose market share and by waiting to sell loses value.

When will something happen at this company. Probably dictated more by the banks then by the management of the company due to dates to pay loans etc.

The only real winners here are the management. Making large sums of money in salaries as the company slides downhill.

So what is Warburg Pincus's game plan? Maybe one last sales pitch to a competitor (not likely to work unless they cut the price way down for this company).

Last gasp. Bankruptcy. But nobody knows the books so when or if this would happen is a complete mystery.

The bottom line for this company. If it pays your salary it is a good temporary job. Don't make any long-term plans with this company as it by design (private equity) will not exist in its current form in a few years.

Although there have been many changes at the top of this organization very few changes have occurred in middle management or below. Overall it has been quite a stable company to work for the past three years as few have lost their jobs.

As long as everyone keeps their jobs it does not matter much what happens to this company. Everyone is nervous but maybe there will not be a big change that will effect employment.

the pharma division has been anything but stable. Turnover must be over 80% the last 3 years. Which is ridiculous for a pharma company. Should be no more than 10% per year.

The point is, you can't make long term plans or a career at B&L so it is a joke. It's a temp job at best. You're 1 step above the contract rep slackers you see in the street every day. Actually they probably have more job security than you because they will be carrying your drops soon.

If you are curious, there has been a rumor that senior leadership is quietly looking at the option of using a rental sales force and getting rid of all B+L sales managers and employees. Let's hope this is only a rumor.
