PIP

This company is full of of horse sh--.

So you reached your 18 month expiration date (anniversary) with Watson? Previous posts (removed mysteriously) have remarked about how Watson purges the sales force to keep the costs low. They keep hiring for less cost and move out those who have risen to a higher base. Perhaps it helps keep Bizarro in that million dollar income. There is not much you can do about it in a company with zero ethics or principles.

But there IS much you can do about it!
As I've said before, I am an example of winning the PIP "game" here!
It truly saddens me when I hear of reps being screwed, and the pressure that often invades their personality, and even their physical well- being. In many cases this doesn't have to be! But the decision whether or not to be proactive is all yours. Just please understand it CAN work out in your favor.

You sound like Obama, all platitudes and no details. You are the first claimant of a positive PIP outcome ever mentioned on this site. Please elaborate or cut the b.s.

A Board Certified Plantiff employment law attorney is the key. They are not easy to find, but it is at least worthwhile to talk to one. A plantiff employment law attorney has to be very good because they make a living going up against other employment law attorneys who almost allways represent corporate defendants.
I actually had several PIP's before working with my attorney.
And by the way, the right-wing is going to self- destruct!

agree with you re: the plaintiff attorney. employers work with their legal staff and HR to ensure the company end is protected, then the employee gets a PIP. don't take it passively. ask an attorney how to survive it proactively.

as for you liberals, socialism is all well and good on paper until, in real world, you run out of everyone else's money to pay for it.

I guess it's like GE. The goal is to not pay income tax, use loopholes, don't create any jobs, and make the middle class absorb all the cuts in Medicare, etc. America is waking up! Oh, but keep those bonus' coming!

How do you survive a PIP when the company can let a representative go without giving a reason? Read what you signed when you hired on with Watson.

Yes, you are correct. The company can let you go without reason. BUT, the company can not discriminate against you. This is why it's so vital for you to visit an employment law attorney- if he/ she wants to stay, or is angry enough. In my case there was discrimination. Enough for the company to "back off".

When I was given my first PIP, I was very concerned.
HOWEVER, I discovered that at least one other rep., whose numbers were worse than mine, did not receive a PIP! This prompted me to seek an attorney (Board certified in employment law), and the "dialogue" began. It showed that PIP's can be subjective, and therefore may be challenged!

Answer me this: Why would you want to win the PIP GAME here? Winning the pip game and staying is losing.
