PIP/Layoff question

How could they hold you all to a certain number by a certain date when they got rid of actual number goals shortly after launch?

Was anyone told in the short time we had that if you didn't have 20 by 7/18 you would be PIP'd? If you didn't have 30 by 8/29 you would be PIP'd?

How can they have done that legally?

Rule 1- never believe anything they say cause they dont believe it themselves
Rule 2 - they do what they want however and whenever they want
Rule 3 - HR is neither human norbserve as a resource they actually are against you
Rule 4 - the little guy always gets screwed the bg guy makes a killing
Rule 5 - the big guy always gets another outrageously paying job
Rule 6 - you go from hero to zero in the blink of an eye
Rule 7 - whenever they talk about something its always because some high up got caught
Rule 8 - friends always support friends no matter how unqualified they are or how much they screwed up
Rule 9 - these geniuses only care about themselves don't kid yourself
Rule 10 - please re read the rules

Re #6 - No kidding.

Multiple Pres Club winners, Reps of the year in 2013, solid performers. People who sold the VERY expensive Exalgo and did it well.

i saw good people thrown away like trash. let me say, i have seen some $#it in this business, but this was probably the stupidest, classless, detrimental 'separation events' in the history of this industry. i mean every word of that. un-fuc#ing-believable!

I'm telling you this is part of a plan to get rid of as many MNK people as possible--quickly. They can pull the plug on Ventiv anytime they want without repercussion. They are cutting costs as fast as they can to be lean and mean for takeover. Stockholder value. Remember? Have you ever seen a "layoff" come up this quick and be handled this badly? Ever?

There is M&A activity going on behind the scenes. Stock up 10 points last week. Now at 81.49. Flirting with 85 again. I posted a month ago that something is happening at 85.

Not sure if the 18 month rule (from break off from COV) is in place, meaning MNK can't be sold within 18 months of that. I do know that there is a bill in Congress to raise the inversion limit from 20% to 50%, meaning that the prey company market cap has to be at least 20% of that of the predator company--will soon be 50%.

Obama is trying to stop all the US companies from fleeing the high corporate tax rates here. It's a race against the clock.

Why do you think MNK bought Questcor and Cadence? To make MNK market cap higher, to be more attractive to a bigger predator company. More options. I would be willing to bet that that company is already known. This is just posturing for a "fit".

MNK is probably scurrying to make all this happen before the 50% law is passed. Dublin is still a big fat carrot. And of course all the MNK insiders will get filthy rich. That's what makes this a "go".

If MNK is sold and XXR is not profitable, guess what the predator company will do with it--AND YOU. All of you. If you're not looking for a job, you'd better get busy.

I'm no insider, but I did sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night. We'll see. Just thinking out loud.

Sounds plausible to me add the premium that goes alng with the buy and you've got a recipe for disaster on our end and a HUGE windfall on theirs. You can bet your bottom dollar that it will be before the 50% rule gets passed.

Mylan anyone??? Just throwing it out there don't really belueve it will happen but apparently their management is just as brutal as this one so who knows like minds think alike!!!!

Please do tell oh seer of the future!!!! As the other guy says you're probably right but i think we're all curious as to how you know. That's probably because we all think the management has no idea what they're going to do.

I hear you man think i think us puzzle lovers see the whole thing unravel. Big question though is who are they flirting with? We all think MNK is the prey anyway I do. Whoever buts this will definitely clean house with the exceptions of the upper upper management who will eventually leave with the hugest of rewards. Anybody have any thoughts as to who the players are?? Not that it currently changes anything.

Don't know who MNK is flirting with, but I believe that the recent acquisitions were for the sole purpose of increasing MNK market cap. That way, given the 20% inversion rule, a company with deeper pockets could be the buyer--because MNK's 20% would be a bigger number.
