I was contacted today with regards to what was called a pilot position....can anyone expand on what this is? risky? is the product doing well etc? selling Soliris?

funny, you didn't say that you were contacted by a recruiter. Coincidentally, I was contacted today by a small CI firm claiming to have a BIo-pharma competitive research project. They were looking to hire contract "consultants" to conduct research on Alexion. Specifically they were looking for someone to contract to find out any information on an Alexion sales force. Their project included the scope of any SF expansion, including what they had heard form their clients reps in the field as a possible upcoming "pilot position" selling "Solaris." Perhaps you are only sharing part of your background story on why you are collecting this information?

and who was it that contacted you? your project manager maybe? Possibly looking for you to fill in the gap analysis for your Bio Pharma research project? Might you be looking for any possible info on any SF expansion in this market?
