And I’m out
Dear "lucky-to-be-staying" colleagues,
In a shocking twist of fate, I've been granted the exclusive opportunity to depart from Novartis! That's right – after years of tireless devotion, sacrificing weekends, and practically living at the office or in Teams/Outlook from home, I've finally been rewarded with the gift of unemployment, but will be enjoying the 3-months of fully paid “garden leave” & severance, which are a small token of “appreciation” after almost two decades with this company.
A huge shoutout to the company's visionary management. Their unwavering commitment to restructure and let me go has truly been an inspiring display of gratitude for all my hard work. I'm practically giddy with excitement!
And who could forget the team-building exercises, endless days of Teams calls and literally thousands of internal emails? Priceless memories, indeed!
So here's to you, my fellow coworkers. As I embark on this exhilarating journey into the realm of joblessness, I'll always treasure our time together. “Lucky”you, still part of the Novartis family!
Wishing you all the best from the bottom of my jobless heart,
Newly minted Ex-Novartian
