• Make it like cafepharma, but for different industries: over the years we’ve had suggestions for creating a site similar to cafepharma, but for different industries. Now there is a place. Check out CompanyUnderground for company forums in other industries. Don’t see a company? Request it here. I have not recognized Genentech for a long time and this just tops it. Ecosystems and pioneers......Glad our executives spent so much time at Google to come up with this nonsense. So many of the good people are leaving which I am sure the company loves because less severances to give out. What's left is the shit that floats to the top. Where does shit fit into the ecosystem? How many post it notes were wasted on this!?!

Many companies pride themselves on industry reputation, moral, contribution to healthcare and commitment to invest in future research. Reflecting on this strategy and vision from our leaders, I am baffled at this ecosystem model. What are they thinking? They say they want to be the leaders of this future model but they haven’t considered the impact on future revenue...loss of talent, loss of moral, and negative reputation across the industry. Right now, anything is looking better than this mess right now.

Genentech lost a discrimination case this past April. For those who may missed it. He was a Black I.T. Person accused of stealing a sandwich in Vacaville by his Supervisor. There will be many more such cases because of Gene arrogance the past ten years. In fact, it is not Gene! It’s Roche. Just change the name to Roche. They messsed up the culture. A company full of Brown people who think they’re ‘White’. The irony.

I had a manager who made my life a living hell because I am a young female minority. She treated her other DRs who were white males like kings and she crapped on me everyday because she felt she could. When I complained to HR/ER, they said it's not racism because my manager was an South Asian female. BS.

Sounds to me like somebody sucked at their job but, as usual, wanted to use race as a crutch - just sayin’

Sounds like disparate treatment. I'd contact an employment attorney as you may have a case. Start documenting if you haven't already. BTW - I'm not a minority but have seen this trend at GNE and it needs to be stopped. HR, do your job.

I am a minority and think you are just a whiny, race baiting bitch
