they are pulling your chain and the VP of Sales would like to pull something else after he interviews you. he is a "peter puffer". be careful.

Been there - done that. I would bet 100 bucks the job is filled. They bring in a couple of hopeful candidates to buffer the rolls. Due Diligence. It is not just you, it is the way the companies are playing. I believe the job was filled long before it was posted.

you were right, the job was filled. We still met (which I found odd) we discussed future rolls etc. I wish you guys the best of luck and maybe next time around I will get so lucky

Business development manager is an old title for the days when Botox was newly launched with its cosmetic indication. That was 2002. That was back when the original 10-20 rep actually had to develop a market for the product. Today BDM is just a fluffed up name for sales rep. Just b2b sales, that's all.

You are one lucky SOB, this place "sucks" and I'm doing anything ( including taking it-up-the ass ) to get out of here! Management screwed up, complete Chinese Fire Drill...Amazing!
