They will hire Ista reps in open spots. This is what I heard. There is no expansion though. Most Ista peeps will be looking. Sucks for them and I feel bad for mine because he is good but no place for him.
 






Well why did B+L mgmt. let the whole expansion process( posting,interviewing,dates et all) when they knew there was there major acquisition on the horizon that would make it all for naught ?? Sounds like v. poor planning,leadership.

It is not poor planning. They planned for all of this. They just did not care that they would waste peoples time interviewing because what are you to them, nothing. Just pawns in the game. You were their back up plan in case the deal did not go through.

Just guessing, but you may be talking about the expansion in vision care? That's different, and is occurring. There was/is no plan for a pharma expansion...that's what's being affected by the acquisition.
 
























VC expansion is real- 30 new territories of VTMs and ECS reps many of who are internal candidates and already received offers. As for the rest there is final hiring event this week in Chi town (sources say). There has not been an expressed expansion plan for pharma though. If you haven't gotten a call inviting you to fly to Chi town you are definitely not a part of this expansion.
 






Does anyone think 80k salary is possible for a VC position? I have a job already, and although i would like to join B&L, I don't want to move backwards in pay to come on board... that would be a tad counterproductive. Any thoughts on total realistic comp for the VC position?
