Pharmacy Reaction & Feedback

After making a number of pharmacy calls as per our current marching orders, I have come to find a remarkably high rate or Zorvole x, zero stocking of Tivorbex and relatively receptive pharmacists. Despite corporates fantasies, stocking of Tivorbex will not occur without scripts. Pharmacies are run as micro businesses and excess inventory is a drain on profits and resources. Most chain policies discourage or prohibit prestocking, especially a relatively obscure drug from an unknown company. I have yet to discover an overt acknowledgement of a rejected Tivorbex script, but there are multiple shifts and you never know who you are going to get.

This seems more like an exercise in futility than a productive replacement of 3 calls per day. Anyone uncover a gem or is it just more if the same.

More the same. Waste of time. Think about your territory. How many doctors are seeing and treating gout and other more painful, transitory conditions. Handful? So that means a handful of pharmacies will be willing to keep it on their shelves. Tivorbex is a small money maker and the company is doing their best to show the market they are doing the things necessary to grow it. Unfortunately, we're just pawns and this job sucks. But I do like the reaction I get from doctors when we discuss Tivorbex. Just too small a market. Iroko, good try on this one but bad planning on your part.

The idiots managing this company can't even do the simplest of things like put themselves in the patients shoes. I will be going to the same pharmacy to get my medications unless I've got penal gangrene, then I'll go wherever the Dr tells me. No one is going out of their way to go to another pharmacy just for an nsaid. Even if the pharmacy is across the street from the drs office, they are still going to their local pharmacy. Management has totally f'ed up this launch. To add insult to injury, they ask us to step up our games for a new initiative, then pull it back at the last minute. There are some incredibly stupid fucking people running things in Philly. I have my suspicions, but I'll wait for the heads to roll. Although that blowhard Greg from the last couple of conference calls seemed pretty self important... Just sayin'...

If I can believe the pharmacists I've spoken with do far, the Tivorbex copay is so far from $25, they are merely responding to pts requests for more affordable options. So are the pharmacists really our enemy, or is it our own leadership? Take a look in the mirror before slinging any more shit or stupid initiatives at the field.

Shut up and get back to work you ingrate. And don't expect any steak knives.

PS - You're already out of the running for the Cadillac, so you know what's left...

It's time to move on. After listening to this webinar, I understand why we are in the position we are in.

You have to wonder how much any of the participants bought into any of this BS either. You will piss pharmacists off with some of this talk. Zorvolex is not too much of a problem. Tivorbex is a quagmire. Small pharmacies that have given us and gotten our support are getting screwed here. Management has actually made a bad situation worse...

Totally agree with your statements. The amount of questions asked basically said it all, they came from managers mostly. Like the previous poster said, it is time to move on. Let's get off the Titanic. She is taking on too much water.

So here's the problem. So far, no one has heard of Tivorbex and prescribing of Indocin is not that much. What does this tell you, Iroko? Tivorbex will not even come close to making goal. Limited market equals limited profits. Still want us to go to the pharmacies to make those switches? Switches to what? They've never heard of Tivorbex. How can you make a switch on something that is not being prescribed? Nuff said. Got to get back to work.

To the insecure powers that be scanning CP for field feedback:

Where's the fucking accountability? Less than two weeks ago you created a level of urgency. The field responded promptly to your requests, only for you the feed the field a line of bullshit about our failure to deliver, when in fact it was you who dropped the fucking ball!!! Not only that, your pos program doesnt even work to your diminished standards. If heads dont roll in Philly, then you are telling the field executive failure is ok, but the field still has to suffer the consequences. You know what is causing rx loss and your incompetence only made it worse this week. And the field discovered those shortcomings as well. Nice job, have a pizza party for yourself on Friday and leave by 2 for thelong weekend. Twits!!!

ps - enough with the fucking conf calls during work hours, especially at lunch time.

Is "penal" gangrene something you get in prison?
