Pharmacy calls before final interview

I have been interviewing with a pharma company and they are asking me to conduct some pharmacy calls and bring the results to my final interview . Has anyone every heard of this ? I am limited to what I can say so I am basically introducing myself to the pharmacist and asking them if they are familiar with the product . Just wanting some feedback .

Sorry, I have never heard of this, and I've had a lot of interviews. What kind of results are you supposed to bring in? Maybe this kind of jumping through hoops for an interview is a red flag. Only you know if it's worth it though. Good luck either way.

Although I've never heard of a company doing this, I actually think it's a great idea for you to do it, because you can find out if the product is stocked, what HCP's in your area are prescribing it. Then you would have a better idea of how well the product is selling.

ever think of pharmacist view on this. They have zero obligation to share this specific information with "just a person interviewing" not to mention this is a distraction from their work

Once you either get the job or not, please let us know what company full of douchebags would ask a potential hire go through such an asinine exercise. Why lower yourself to participate in such foolish activities. You should have old them to suck you r balls and hang up on them. What a bunch of assmunches.

I agree with the above poster.

They are wanting free information to gain a database because they are too cheap to pay for the ICD codes, think of it, they are wanting all the candidates to do this... I would do it because it can help you personally, I would tell the hiring manager, once you hire me, I'll give you all th leads I've abtained.
