Pharmaceutical rep looking to enter AH

Many of the divisions managers had only Humans side sales experience before joining Animal Health. It is differnt from the human side. We take orders and actually have to sell and close. It is not delivering food and dumping samples.

Some with your back ground are developing well but many are lost. Unfortunately the lost group all are in management and impact our success negativly.

Thank you very much for your feedback. What is the typical base salary for someone with my experience? My current base is near 100k. Also, what's the bonus structure like? Thanks again!

Holy crap a legit answer from above.

Animal health involves sales vs human Pharma involves catering and ups skills. I did the human thing for 4 years and wasn't a fan it wasn't sales at all.

Animal has its own issues like price only buyers and marketing teams that are not in touch with the field. Some great regional managers some suck but that is all sales. If you can sell you can cut it in Animal.

Great benefits like human, solid base and bonus stricture and you can still buy business I mean entertain clients.

No animal experience base is in the 60-80 range with bonus range do 20-25k a year at quota.

Nothing's perfect but until I'm 50+ and want a cake job that isn't sales based I'll not be looking at human. When I want to coast I to retirement I will try to go back to human with my parent company!!!

Territory is much larger than human 3-4x bigger
