Pharma Vs Biotech

I'm just looking for some insight from people in the Biotech industry. Being in pharma for a few years I am looking to try something new. I've though about device but much of the advice I had gotten was to look into Biotech instead. I'm just wondering what the biggest differences are between pharma and biotech, what a typical day looks like, and some good companies that would be worth looking into. Thanks in advance.

Take your pick of risks. Pharma's downside is that the small molecule business changes every two years, management is usually terrible and reimbursement is a huge challenge when your product is not first in class and the leader goes generic.

Biotech's risks are your product suddenly being pulled for manufacturing issues, reimbursement run by PBM idiots who don't even understand the therapeutic area, big pharma mentality masquerading as "entrepreneurship" (what a load of politician that is!!!) and frequent mergers/buyouts that either pay off big or you lose your @$$.
