I never cease to be amazed that the drug companies pay people 100k a year
to work a few hours a day having lunch delivered in to doctor's offices. I mean, I get
that they don't want to lay off people so the managers can keep their corporate welfare
jobs, but doesn't anybody in these companies realize what a huge waste of resources it
is to have armies of drug reps still??
When you get in to the real world of jobs, (outside of Big Pharma) you realize what few
real skills you get being a drug rep, and how completely out of whack the compensation is
in that industry. It simply defies all logic.
I guess fleecing the public is a highly profitable endeavor, which enables them to compensate
people like they do?
