Pfizer getting into ADHD

A new giant just stepped up to the ADHD table. Pfizer to buy Nextwave Pharmaceuticals. They will be selling a 12 hr liquid MPH starting in January. This drug was approved last month, nice of Shire to pass along.

Um, no it is a liquid suspension and was studied in 6-17. Maybe taking the dosing solution of dissolving in water that Vyvanse offered out of Visual was not such a good idea?

Good. Pfizer will help grow the market. Competition also helps with job security. We want Pfizer reps bashing vyvanse.

I think providers see the issues with MPH, and I can't imagine the issues they have with it will be solved by this liquid suspension version. We all know the limitations to the molecule, and how could a liquid version be of any improvement, besides the whole pill swallowing issue (which I know is a factor sometimes) ?
