Yeah, he "works" at Amgen. How does a guy with NO experience carrying a bag ever get a job as an RD. Very strange...good friends with CT, another "real" talent.

He is getting sales, based on his experience and his qualifications. why do you disagree? Are you not able to think outside of your pharma box and realize that leadership, direction and talent can come from people who have other experiences in life?
Pete exudes leadership. He leads by example, he never puts himself before his people, and he has great intuition.
His team would walk through fire for him; his second level subordinates love him. He has the lowest attrition rate in the business unit.
The fact that he hasn’t carried a bag may make him more effective because his approach is realistic, fresh and not weighed down by bio/pharma “historic approach”. Furthermore, his no experience in the field makes him depend and value his people and their opinion more.
