Had a friend tell me today that pet armor was out of his Walmart and said that the Walmart site stated all sizes were out of stock. Does that sound right?

Pet Armor Plus is gone. Not Pet Armor. The difference? S-methoprene - the Insect Growth Regulator (which is a weak IGR because it has to come into contact with flea eggs/larvae to work; is degraded by sunlight; and does not spread evenly all over pets body). Pet Armor doesn't have fipronil + s-methoprene. So its here to stay because its not a patent infringement. Pet Armor Plus was.
Hey vets - your customers can still get Frontline Plus a heck of alot easier from stores than can you. You're competing with gas prices and convenience of shopping. Why vet clinics are still carrying Frontline Plus is amazing. This dopes also say that Merial gives their customers a great deal buy 6 get 2 free. You don't get the mark up on it doc. You are training your customer base you are no different than Walmart / Costco / Lowes / Target / ect....
You know, it's funny...some of the same folks (Novartis) who claim that S-methoprene is "weak" are also the same ones who used to claim that fipronil was "weak" (remember your "resistance" BS?). Yep, they're singing a different tune now. I guess some people will say whatever it takes to make a sale.Pet Armor Plus is gone. Not Pet Armor. The difference? Anyhow, show me studies that back your ridiculous claims about S-methoprene. You can't because they don't exist...it's all speculative BS. Guess what, I can immediately produce at least 4 that demonstrate its effectiveness (yes, they're published and peer reviewed). As for the "degraded by sunlight" argument, thank God dogs and cats don't emit sunlight from their skin...we'd all be in trouble then.
My vet told me that this product was also pulled because it was harming animals....my dog personally suffered seizures and I've heard other people mention that it has burned their pets skin also.....good ridance!
